HEMA free meaning?
HEMA is a monomer, a reactive ingredient, that is most commonly used to adhere the gel to the nail. It gives the gel polish that nice hard, shiny finish.
You will find it in many types of nail products such as glue, acrylic, gel polish and gels. HEMA is known as 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate or hydroxyethyl methacrylate; monomers used to polymerize UV gels. The molecular size of HEMA is very small and can be absorbed into the skin and nail plate.
